What is Heimdyn?
Heimdyn is an ERP for small and mid-sized manufacturers. It links quotation, sales, manufacturing, purchase and inventory into one connected system, so every document generates the next one and nothing has to be re-entered.
How is an ERP different from a manufacturing dashboard?
A dashboard reports on data that is entered somewhere else. An ERP is where the work is recorded in the first place: a quotation becomes a sales order, which raises a manufacturing order, which drives purchasing and consumes inventory. A dashboard shows you numbers; an ERP runs the operation that produces them.
What is a three-way match in purchasing?
A three-way match compares the purchase order, the goods receipt note and the supplier invoice before payment is approved. If quantities or rates disagree across the three, the invoice is held. It is the standard control against paying for material that was never received or was received at a different rate.
Which manufacturing industries does Heimdyn suit?
Heimdyn is horizontal across discrete manufacturing — light engineering, packaging, fabrication, components and assembly. The connected order flow from quotation to dispatch is the same shape in each; only the bill of materials changes.
Is Heimdyn suitable for MSMEs?
